Author Topic: SOLVED - MyCom USB dongle problems connecting WII-Controller  (Read 6909 times)

I have a MyCom Bluetooth dongle and I installed the most recent Broadcom drivers.
The problem is that my USB dongle recognizes the WII-controller as an ordinary mouse. I tried to use the WII-Controller in BlueSoleil, which appeared to be a problem too so I can not work with the WII-controller ...
Does anyone knows how I can solve this problem and how I can start to work with my WII controller in BlueSoleil?

That is correct both Widdcomm (repackaged as broadcom) and Bluesoleil will identify the Wiimote as a keyboard/mouse HID.

Once connected you need an application that will act as an interface to convert input from the Wiimote to your needs.

What are you trying to achieve???

For my project I would to use the WII-controller in combination with MAX-MSP. In MAX I am going to use the output of the sensors of the WII-controller to for example rotate a picture on the screen.
Now it is all practicing and finally I would like to make a interface for a product with this combination :)
Do you know what steps to take to get this working? Hope you can help me :)
