i need to buy a bluetooth adapter for jonny's whiteboard app, i need to know of one that's not expensive, but get's the job done almost all the time, help GREATLY appreciated

The discussion between bluesoleil & wiimoteproject members about the direct of the Bluesoleil software. Depending on next two releases could be some amazing stuff here.

My suggestion is go a USB BT device supporte by Widcomm or Bluesoleil v3. Widcomm & Bluesoleil v3 definetly works. If Bluesoleil comes through with the goods, either way you may need to pay a few $$$ but the ease of connectivity will be awesome.

i've already tried a cables unlimited bluetooth adapter with bluesoleil, but it didn't work.  I've also tried an iogear with widcomm, but i had to return that also.  I'm just looking for a bluetooth adapter that works for sure, because of the last two.  Thanks though.  :D

Whenever i connect the wiimote, i launch jonny's app, but the wiimote's lights keep flashing, and it doesn't seem to fully connect. It will run perfectly in glovepie though.  ???

I have had some really good luck with a USB that I purchased from Newegg.com.  I have used with Vista and XP using the standard Microsoft bluetooth.  I had tried Widcomm and Bluesolie, but found the best connection was with standard Windows.  So far I have received 4 from Newegg and at $10 each with free delivery (US) you can't go too far wrong.  Here is more information:

Sorry that Newegg.com was out of stock.  I looked - they had a couple of more under $20 USB dongles.  It's the shipping that can get expensive.
They have often had this unit on sale with free shipping - makes it a great deal.
I'm starting to think that many dongles may work, just use the Windows drivers first before even trying anything else.
