Looking at the file name you gave seems to indicate that it was downloaded, or otherwise installed from a copy. Did your hardware come with a CD?
The reason that I ask is that IVT is the maker of BlueSoleil, and the hardware is manufactured by some other company.
In my case, I decided to download a newer version of BlueSoleil, and that was a mistake. In fact, BlueSoleil later versions seem to cause alot of trouble altogether. Plus, if you installl BlueSoleil from the "free" online versions, and it actually works...it tells you that you are limited to 5MB data transfer.
Since my computer responded to the new software with the infamous Blue Screen of Death, I decided to revert to the version that came with my device, which works fabulously, although it does not take hot-plugging of other HIDs on the USB port well so far. That version is BlueSoleil 2.7.0. 13 VoIP Release 071227, and it works fine with my XP Pro, and ISSC dongle.
A better choice of dongle, or Bluetooth adapter would be one that supports the standard Windows Bluetooth stacks, since they afford the code access to the Bluetooth side, as well as the HID side.
I would recommend that you uninstall that version if you have the original version available, and also other HID devices could pose installation/detection problems.
Hope you get it sorted.
