Hello.

Ive been trying to get my wiimote to work for the past two days. I have no issues with connecting it to the pc. I used an OEM bluetooth, and Bluesoliel to connect the wiimote. But i cannot get the Wiimote to detect the IR lights.. I've run many apps, including smoothboard , and WiimoteWhiteboard by Johhny Chung Lee. In all the programs, in the place where it shows how many IR lights are detected, it ALWAYS shows 4, ie "1 2 3 4". This happens even if i keep the wiimote in a completly dark area. Could someone please help me out with why its happening so.

Thanks.

Hi,

Several users have reported such issue previously. All of them have reported success if the Wiimote is replaced.
Therefore, I feel that the Wiimote may be faulty or may not be an original Wiimote.

You should try out another Wiimote to test.

Hope this helps.

Boon Jin
