So, I recently bought a Asus USB-BT211 blutooth, and looked at wiibrew, and it said to download the Widcom (from the official Broadcom page).
I downloaded it, and it's stuck trying to determine my device (please turn on or plug in your device).
I press cancel and it closes.

When I try to do it with Windows, I goto the add device, and I hold 1+2, and it connects, but the lights keep flashing, and eventually (within 10 minutes) they turn off.
Using Wiimote connect it never finds my device.

I'm using a HP Pavilion dv4 laptop, it has a logitech camera, no internal bluetooth, windows 7 64 bit, first party wiimote (no motion+)

Help?

Have you tried using the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack and connecting with Smoothboard?

You may use the tool from http://www.bluetoothinstaller.com to install the MS Bluetooth Stack.

I did try using that Microsoft stack.  It installed, smoothconnect came up saw the controller, connected, but would hang on the install.  Then it cycled through finding, connecting, and hanging on the installing.  At the end of the day, I shut my computer and went home.  When I tried again the next day, the Microsoft stack was no longer working, and I could not get it to reinstall on my computer.  I see this:

Creating restore point ...Done.
Patching bth.inf ...Done.
Installing driver ...Done.

Wait wait Windows installs Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator and then click "Next" to test your bluetooth adapter.

I click next and then get this message: Sorry. It seems installation wasn't successfull. Unable to contact your bluetooth adapter.

Hi,

You may want to unplug the device and remove all the existing drivers for the Bluetooth adapter.

You may want to check whether the Bluetooth Support Service and HID Input Service are running too.

Go to Start Menu- Run, and enter Services.msc.

Make sure that the two services are set to running and Automatic
