Author Topic: Wii-mote connects then straight away disconnects...?  (Read 11088 times)

Hey all,

I'm having trouble connecting my wii-mote to my computer. I know the problem is not in my Bluetooth dongle, because I have several and have already tried many. I am using the default Microsoft Bluetooth stack.

When I connect my wii-mote to the computer, it says "This device has been successfully added to your computer." and then it goes on to install the drivers. A few seconds later, my wii-mote decides to disconnect suddenly. I have tried so many times and would really appreciate some help.

By the way, I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Are you using a genuine Wii Remote? Non-genuine Wiimotes may have issues connecting to the computer.

Also, if you are using the Wii Remote Plus, you will need to use the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack.
