Hello,

I am using Windows Vista and I have bluetooth on my computer somewhere.  I have the Bluesoleil software version 3.2.2.6.  I successfully connect my Wiimote to my computer so that information is being sent - however, when I load the application Wiimote Whiteboard it says:

Exception: No available Wiimote found. Please check the bluetooth connection.

I do not know what this means.  Also, rather than using Bluesoleil - should I not be able to use the bluetooth software in the control panel? Like the standard Windows one?

When I try to do this I get that no devices could be found ... like it doesnt even work?

Hmmm, if someone could help me I would be very appreciative.

Simon

•Operating System:      Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit
•Bluetooth Stack:          I dont know what this is... I have deleted Bluesolei so I am guessing the default windows one?
•Bluetooth Stack version:    How do I find this?
•Connection Method using:    ???
•Detailed description of what happens:    see previous re: windows dedault
•A screen dump of your device manager (Bluetooth Devices & Human Interface Devices expanded)

WINDOWS cannot find any Bluetooth Devices.  Make sure that your Bluetooth device is attached to your computer and is turned on, and that your Bluetooth device is turned on.

I have also found that in devices i have the following::

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

Your device is not compatable with Microsoft.

1. The version of Bluesoleil you have doesn't work with the Wiimote, Goto http://www.bluesoleil.com follow the links to find if your device is compatable. Then use the trial version. If it works then you need to pay the $29.95 and buy the latest version.

2. If you have some tech skills or you know someone that does follow this http://www.shootingsoftware.com/Widcomm.htm to force microsoft to recognise your device.

3. Hope on ebay type 'Bluetooth USB Dongle' buy one that looks like this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Smallest-Mini-USB-2-0-Bluetooth-Dongle-Adapter-A077_W0QQitemZ220346911096QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Laptop_Accessories?hash=item220346911096&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A1|39%3A1|240%3A1318 they are Microsoft complient.

Follow the Bluetooth connection instructions found at: http://boonjin.com/smoothboard/index.php?title=Connect_the_Wiimote

Hey! I´m kinda new on this stuff ....

I´m connecting  the wiimote to my pc, i have a bluetooth usb   - trendnet tbw - 102ub - , i have checked a list of compatible bluetooth devices that somebody posted and it says that it is compatible and that this bluetooth comes with bluesoleil, but it doesn´t.

The issue is: i can connect the wiimote to my pc, but when i start the Chung Lee´s wiimote whiteboard or Boon Jin´s smoothboard it displays a message "Exception: No wiimotes found in HID device list" ... I have read all the posts about it and I have done it all but still doesn´t work ... please I need somebody´s help!!!

Follow this: http://www.shootingsoftware.com/Widcomm.htm

Then connect like this: http://boonjin.com/smoothboard/index.php?title=Connecting_the_Wiimote_to_a_XP/Vista/Mac_Bootcamp_Microsoft_Bluetooth_stack

If it doesn't work read & do what you can from this: http://www.wiimoteproject.com/bluetooth-and-connectivity-help-center/bt-problems-a-self-help-guide-**-please-read-before-posting-problem**/

If it still doesn't work: post the imformation required under the purple heading in the above self help guide in a NEW post so we can help you more.
