Hi there ...

Does anyone know what are the maximum number of wiimotes that can be connected to the system. I have reached upto 4 and any more after that it doesn't accept. I tried using both Bluesoleil stack and toshiba stack, and both dont accept any new connections after 4. But Bluetooth can supposedly support a maximum of 7 devices. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piconet).
Also does anyone know whether there is any hardware limitation that is hindering my dongle to accept more connections. and that if i invest in a better(expensive) dongle i'll be able to get more wiimotes connected .. ?

Thanks ..
Abhinav

I'm pretty sure a bluetooth stack can only connect to 4 devices?

as far as i know it should be possible to connect 7 wiimotes, a bluetooth piconet can consist of 7 slaves and one master.

As this is the only topic I've found that could resolve one of my current curiosities, I'll ask here instead of a new topic.

If you connect more than one Wiimote to your computer, can you use both of them to make it easier to calibrate and make it easier to write all around the whiteboard without the continuos points instead of a line because of the angle? and if not, what use is there of connecting more than one wiimote to your computer?

Look at Boonjins Smoothboard application 2 Wiimotes improves tracking accuracy or 1 can be used as a Presenter and the other as a Whiteboard.
