Any possibility of using the head tracking in a first person shooter, while not only having the headset-glasses for head tracking but have a dual tracking for a "wii-pistol" of sorts so in game the FOV and the character model's gun could move separate from each other... instead of fixed positioning...

The whole concept of the FOV control with headgear is very interesting and useful, especially in a FPS environment.

Using one wiimote and the infrared LED glasses to control the FOV, a second wiimote/nunchuck set to control character movement through the environment, and point and shoot interaction with the game software through the wii sensor bar.  Very possible, makes me think of Medal of Honor Heroes for the wii, replacing the tilt controlled peeking with a head-mounted sensor bar.
