Hey I've been snooping around lately and found out about this so called Homebrew Channel for the Wii. Does anybody know how to get it and make it work?

Thanks ben, but I already had found that page.
I'm realy a non expert at this and most of the time I mess up because I don't know about a lot of stuff (wii and certain application installations).

The wiimoteproject is more about hacks involving Wii periferal devices (wiimote, nunchuck & Wiiboard). The Wii Homebrew is about user created games for the wii (as opposed to Nitendo Created). There is a thread a http://www.wiili.org/forum on the Wii Homebrew, that is where a lot of Linux Wii discussion goes on they may be able to provide you with more support than us.
