Title: Rightclick is possible!
Post by: lmb on January 21, 2009, 08:03:16 AM
Hello,
Yesterday I found this (in German):
http://ibrom.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=19&Itemid=37
Google's English translation (sooo bad...):
http://tinyurl.com/wiimoterightclickenglish

Is that really possible and if yes, why isn't it shown as a link or so on Lee's page or here?

Hi,

From the looks of the website, the right click is achieved through the actual mouse itself. He has just modified his USB mouse so that the IR Pen contains the left and right click switch of the mouse while obtaining power from the mouse for the IR led.

You should be able to build a similar setup by yourself if you are willing to crack open a mouse. :)

It will be best if you are using a mini wireless mouse so that it will be portable.

Regards,
Boon Jin

Yes, but it is a very good idea I think.
The software uses the "mouse clicks" to click and looks over the wiimote where the pen is.
But the building od the pen is a bit difficult ;-)
