I am looking for something similar to how the mimo or smartboard software works to have multiple boards or "pages".  So when one fills the page with text you can just create a new page and keep going but you can still come back to that page to review what you had just done.  Ie.  A very big math problem or two related concepts.

Along these same lines I would like to have these multiple pages be able to have staff "paper" on it.  I am a music teacher and it would be nice to use this with my theory class.  Right now I use a standard whiteboard with a set of staff lines on it but I run out of room ALL the time.

I was able to get the wiimote to pair with my computer today and have smooth board working now I just need to build an IR pen.  Already pillaged our school of worn out whiteboard markers...so I will get going on that tonight.

I will be mounting the projector and wiimote on the ceiling and remote wiring the mote to power and sync.

thanks for all the work ben!!  This is a great project.  btw, what do you teach?  And what grade levels?

Funny enough I'm a High School PE & Health teacher, more of a PE-Geek!

The best solution is Onenote is part of the MS Office Suite. You can also embed music/video into the viewer (you/they could write the music, play it, record it and embed). You can set rulled lines and grids. The lines are not the clear black staff lines, but you could create a templete that has them.

If you are after a free solution I suggest you try foxit, you'll need to pre-create a blank Staff sheet, but the annontations scroll with the page.

I would also try Jarnel the OSS version of onenote, but I haven't used it enough.

Here is my list of Wiimote IWB enhancing software it may help you: http://www.boonjin.com/smoothboard/index.php?title=Interactive_software

Take a look at Uniboard (www.getuniboard.com). It's a remarkable piece of whiteboard software. It does as you request, and automatically saves each page. A variety of applications can be embedded into the current page (calculator, wikipedia widget, etc). It also has 4 basic backgrounds. My guess is that you could easily create your own custom background that would serve your purposes.

I've been using Uniboard for over two weeks now and just keep finding more and more to like.
