I was just reading a iLearn Technology forum and saw a video about this project, my mouth dropped. I teach in the city and we have spend thousands of dollars on smartboards. Of course I don't have one and I don't want one because now I can make my own. As soon as my husband gets up I am dragging him to gaming store to buy Wii controller. I can't wait to make my interactive board for my classroom at $50 dollars. Thank you for finding a cheap way to have a wonderful technology in the classroom, I am forever grateful.  :D

dont forget the bluetooth adapter you will need. other than that, i would say its more of an addicting hobby rather than a tinkering one, heh. there are lots of good people on the boards and also good info and many questions already answered so be sure you check all that stuff out as well.

but other than that, welcome!

Details, details. Things to do. Things to get done. Don't bother me with details, just tell me when they're done.

Welcome aboard :)

Please dont hesitate to ask any questions - but as atomriot wrote above - they might be answered already...

Nothing beats working on your $50 interactive whiteboard - especially knowing its homemade ;D

Ill put up a demonstration at my local unversity real soon (They bought some interactive whiteboards as well)
