Title: A question about infrared led points
Post by: madbull on May 16, 2011, 06:26:21 PM
I used Johnny Chung Lee's Tracking Your Fingers with the Wiimote project. You can download source code from here : http://johnnylee.net/projects/wii/WiiMultipointGrid.zip

My question is does WiiRemote detect IR leds position correctly ? Not as real life, i m asking that wii.x and wii.y knowledges are getting properly from the report ? Because when i change only y-axis the code remote.WiimoteState.IRState.RawX1 also changes. Sometimes going on a straight way both of remote.WiimoteState.IRState.RawX1 and remote.WiimoteState.IRState.RawY1 change.

There many mathematical operations in that project so am i wrong or not i could not decide. By the way can you tell me led's placing closely make a problem ? You can look from here http://tinypic.com/r/2ppnhmo/7

My aim is indoor robot positioning by using wii remote controller with infrared leds. I thought that if i get infrared leds x,y coordinates properly i would use direct proportion(regarding to wii's position 512,384) and finally i would use wii remote's physical coordinates(we have allready know this) to get led's physical coordinates.

I will be grateful to you for your any tutorials  Thank you very much.
