Awesome, thanks for the input!
I guess I will go ahead and upgrade pretty soon then.

I am not running anyone else's software. I have just created a small program that stores acceleration values.
My question mostly was that would the Bluetooth dongles and Wiiimote compatibility still exist in W7.
Thanks a lot dice!

Hey Everyone,
I am thinking of upgrading to Windows 7 but I wanted to see if you guys have had any problems with the upgrade - in terms of the Wiimotes not functioning.
Do you recommend upgrading or is it a good idea to stay with Vista?

Yo ezio, if you need help, I can definitely help you out.
But I am sorry, I cannot donate. I am a cash strapped college kid and UC schools just passed a 32% tuition increase, so I dont know how I am going to pay for college.
But if you have any idea on how to do Yaw with the WiiMP, I would love to hear about it!

Is there any way to measure the yaw using the x,y,z acceleration data? I haven't had much success with it

I am not exactly sure I get your question (I have been up for a good 30 hours :( ) but what kind of raw data are you for? If it is something like just three dimensional accelerations then I am sure I can hook you up with the code.
Just let me know.

Hey Ezio,
What trig equations do you use to compute the pitch and the roll? I have some but I think they are wrong.
THis is roll : ((180 / Math.PI) * Math.Acos(double.Parse(ws.AccelState.X.ToString()))));
This is pitch : (int)((180 / Math.PI) * Math.Asin(double.Parse(ws.AccelState.Y.ToString()))));

Your's seems right to me.

Hey marvin, did you ever figure out how to measure yaw?

Oh ok. Do you know of any other program that can measure pitch and roll for multiple remotes? (2)

Hey whats up dude, this is a really cool app that you have created.
Is there dual Wiimote support for it?

Hey guys, I dont know if your connectivity problem is solved, but I had the same issue and this is how I fixed it. Worked really well!*insert-johnnys-app-name-here*-to-connect-help!/

I installed Bluesoleil and now my computer can't even act as a bluetooth device. It also connect my Wiimote as a HID device :(

Oh I did not know that. I will try it out asap. Thanks so much for that!

Hey guys, I tried connecting my Wiimote to my computer and after i while I got it connected. I even ran the Wiimote test app that is included with Johnny's source code. All of it works perfectly. However, when I tried running the Multipoint grid, it keeps saying that it cannot find any Wiimotes.
I checked my bluetooth and it is showing the connection and I ran the test app too. So I dont really know what to do. I would really appreciate any help here.
thanks a lot guys.
