Thanks Uwe, it worked with the local IP.

BTW, as you say in your web it works with flosc 1.3 but not with flosc 2.0.
It doesn't work neither with Nasa Worldwind touch plugin.

Any idea about this issue?

Anybody knows any program (port sniffer) to show the messages sended to the port so I can compare those used by the TUIO simulator and Java Whiteboard? Maybe I can find the problem with it.

Anyway, thank you very much for your software.

Hi Uwe,

i achieve to run nasa worldwind with the multitouch plugin using TUIO simulator CCV.

i also can run flash apps using CCV (tbeta) to send the TUIO messages, but instead using flosc, CCV can send it directly in TCP to the flash port. I tried to send normal OSC messages to flosc and then to the apps but i didn't worked.

I configured Java Whiteboard to send the messages to the same address that CCV ( but it didn't worked. do i need another program as gateway or something??

please if you could share any information about this it would be great.

Edit: When using tbeta to send TUIO/OSC messages, flosc detectes lots of UDP packets, but when using Java Whiteboard it doesn't detect any.
What should I do to send this messages with the whiteboard? (Apart from activate it in the options)

I've been trying to run Java Whiteboard with multitouch TUIO software, but still haven't found the way to do it.

Anyone had success with that? How did you do it?

I used the flosc, configuring tuio port in 3333, like the java whiteboard. Then I use the pooky addon in firefox to run apps, but with no success (can't connect to the TUIO server).

Somebody could please explain how to do it?

By the way, i think it could be a good idea to post the multitouch programs that could be used with this whiteboard, most of the implementations are in
but no many end-user utilities

finally i solved the problem.

it seems it doesn't work with widcomm v6.

you must install widcomm drivers following the steps descrived in here:

had you  successfully install the drivers?? How did you did it?
I found a hard way to do it, changning windows configuration and patching... just wanted to know if there's a easier way to install widcomm drivers.
or if you find an easer way to run it.


I have already tried to install widcomm drivers in a pc patching the drivers because the device didn't included widcomm with it.

it didn't worked (Problem with Bluetooth stack of API).  I also tried blocking windows drivers renaming btw.inf and btw.pnf

then i used a usb dongle which included widcomm drivers 6, no way
i realized that in vista there's an issue with bluecove:
For BlueCove v2.0.x: On Vista WIDCOMM stack detected as Microsoft with all the benefits of one. If you need L2CAP support on Vista and Broadcom v6 use custom bluecove.dll build

i replace the .dll with the ones of the custom build, but still didn't work.

well, if somebody had this problem, how have you solved it?

and, uwe, maybe i'm the only one who have problems with the windows connection but, do you think it could be possible a version without the connection assitance? so we can conect from windows and then use your program.

by the way, no problem with it in linux, thank you, but i have to use it also with windows

Hi all,

that's an old post, but didn't find any newer.

So, when calibrating we take 4 points, but the perspective transform matrix is just 3x3. What do you do with the 4th point?? It's there any point discarded or is used to rectificate the calibration??

By the way, how do you do the smoothing?? Do you take the linear predicted point calculated with the 7 last points??

has somebody successfully configured MPX (the multitouch X server) in Linux??  It could solve the multitouch issue for linux platforms, but I don't know how to install.
