hi all
I have learn today that the best LED for the pens are.
from mouser.com

part number are 782-tsal6200

only .21 per unit

I have tried several LEDs the radio shack are very weak and no great for the pen.
I had so much frustration with rs LED  stay away if you can.
the Jim-pack brand are as bad for Led pen as Radioshack ones.

after using the vishay  my Led pen works just amazing.
tracking is even great at a projection on a wall up to 4 by 6 feet .
the wii set 10 feet from the wall.

my advice is get the rgiht LEDs and you will save a lot.

Not trying to be a jerk here, but didn't you make a post that said something like "the radioshack LEDs work just fine, don't listen to what others say"?

I'm quite sure that you did...

Here it is:

.... jumping in assumptions is a method of wrong deduction........
no offense.....

be more thoughtful ( before open your speech)

In the deductive method, logic is the authority. If a statement follows logically from the axioms of the system, it must be true. In the scientific method, observation of nature is the authority. If an idea conflicts with what happens in nature, the idea must be changed or abandoned.
