Wiimote Project

I've found what seems to work great. I bought the J.C. Lee recommended ir bulbs (100) and some solder. Then I started buying keyfob lights everywhere I found them. What seems to work best is the "UFO" light. It is small and has the momentary switch. The bulb sticks out just enough and the casing is metal. The trick is replacing the white led with the ir bulb without damaging the switch since the contact is so small. There is also the trick of removing one of the batteries so it runs on a single 3v cell instead. I spent a couple days bending the prongs of the ir bulb to get it to route properly in the case without grounding out. I've bought 6 more UFO lights since my teachers are wanting them. My cost was about $8 without labor. If I could setup a heatsink and frame to support the parts while assembling, it might go faster. Once finished, its nearly indestructible.

I put one on eBay. After building some for the school system where I work, I was told that the schools can't pay for them since I am not a vendor. The one I put on eBay and the "ufo" lights seem to be best for school environment. They have a durable case and are small with a keychain to hang them from the wall or near the projector.   You guys seem good enough with a soldering iron to do the work yourselves. I'm very intressted too. But I'm from germany so so sending cost would be quit expensive.
Is here anyone from germany who's making this pens too?

Could you be more specific on the pen you are offering? More pictures, price, shipping etc

the one i ordered works really well
it has a twistable on/off switch, blinking mode, has a metal frame, looks really sleek and professional, very compact like a real pen!

I ordered 2 of these pens. Do you find that it works well with the whiteboard app?

Just a question for the 2 of you that ordered the pens from this website - about how long did it take for your pens to arrive? I'm in Canada, but it's been at least 3 weeks and haven't received anything yet.
