Hey guys, really am hoping to get this working. I'm going to donate it to my high school for use.

However, I'm a total noob at wiring anything and am seeking the absolute easiest way to get a working pen.

That looks promising to me. I can order that very cheaply, but I'm still not real sure on how to put everything together.

I have no idea what kind of wire I need or how to physically arrange it.

If someone could just give me a little primer, it would be much obliged.

you can use any sort of wire for the most part. something small 22 gauge speaker wire or i have heard people use a single strand of network cat5 wire. then you can either solder or connect some other less solid method all the wires and components.

Details, details. Things to do. Things to get done. Don't bother me with details, just tell me when they're done.

Okay, sounds... kind of alright.

I see that on like the LED itself, there are two prongs, as well as on the switch.

Do I solder the wire to the little prongs of the LED and switch or do they just have to touch?
