I've recently acquired all the parts need to put together an IR pen, however since I have little to no knowledge of electronics, and I would like to know what is used to connect everything together for this particular project. I assume that soldering would be an option for the wires, but what would I use to hold the LED in place at the tip of the pen? Would glue work? Any specific kind? Electrical tape does not seem that appealing to me

where did you get the leds?

do not use superglue as most of it is conductive (i learned the hard way) use some a hot glue gun type of glue since its a rubber base you can make sure it stays pretty good.
