I'm curious to find out if people are using light pens with the LED facing the wii remote while writing on the whitboard?
I just got in a shipment of LED's from MOUSER to replace my Radio Shack LEDs.
I'm thinking of different styles of light pens, and would like one that turns on when I make contact with the white board.
I understand that the back of the pen moves differently than the "tip" of the pen while writing.  Can this be overcome by holding the pen differently?

My first IR pen prototype was built using a (short) highlighter/marker with the LED facing the Wii Remote.
It worked great: more responsive and accurate than a smartboard.

Thanks...I have a prototype made up with a Radio Shack LED that I haven't tried yet.

Now that I know someone had success I can make another with the LED's from MOUSER.

I also have light pens that point toward the board.  I'm just testing any possibility.

Thanks Again
