Is it possible to use the standard Wii sensor bar with Wiiremote Whiteboard. I know it works for a fact, but it doesn't seem to get calibrated properly.

My configuration is:
Imac with Wiiremote Whiteboard
1x Wii remote
1x Wii sensor bar

(I was thinking to use it for a digital artifact that i'm creating for a school project.)

If it's not supposed to work with Wiiremote Whiteboard with the standard configuration, then is it possible to modify the sensor bar in any way to become a pen, but with a cable?

It is my understanding that the Sensor bar uses several LEDs, only shining 2 at a time.  So I guess if you were able to find a way to just activate one of the LEDs (or cover one with duct tape or something), then you could maybe do it.  Nice thing about the cable is: no batteries!

My IR-bar is powered by USB (5volts) 2 LED's and a resistor - dead simple and very useful

The housing is from an old coat hanger and i had a spare USB-cable lying around
