Thanks for all your help benpaddlejones, but I think this little dongle has had its chance. I recently put together another PC installed bluesoleil on there and tried it on that one (under speculation that my current mobo might have some serious USB dongle issues(Read it on some other website))
Didnt want to play ball there either.

So unless i want to play Guitar Hero or do crazy wiimote things on my laptop im stumped.
Desperate times call for desperate measures!
*gets the hammer*

Just kidding i'll keep it as a souvenir from hell.

Anyway, im looking to buy a new dongle. After reading your other post on the Dlink DBT-122, im tempted to go with that if you can vouch you've got it working fine and dandy?
IF theres a better one on here you can point to I'd appreciate it:

Ive just tried searching services on my phone to test it, and it cant find any services on it either, however when i put my dongle into my laptop it can find the phones services.
Not sure if this helps but i guess at least it narrows it down from just being a Wiimote connection problem!

EDIT: I just checked computer management and found these in application:

EDIT: Still just running through the updates


Right I've done all of the above and still bluesoleil is being somewhat unresponsive :( but after another restart i can find the Wiimote again and find its name, but its still saying 'searching service is not successful'

Im stumped, i spent atleast 6/7 hours yesterday trying to connect my wiimote, first I did it on my laptop, semi-clean install of windows; installed bluesoleil, worked fine, It found the wiimote and connected without problem.
I then tried the exact same thing on a completely new install of windows on my pc, but every time I try to connect to the wiimote via Bluesoleil it cant find the services. It finds the wiimote and gets the name of it but cant connect.
I've tried reinstalling BlueSoleil, using windows original bluetooth stacks, and widcomm drivers dont recognise my bluetooth dongle.

Im using a Belkin F8T009 which is said to work with bluesoleil.

You guys know much more about this subject than me so if anyones got ideas, fire away!

I have one final idea, and that is to start off fresh, so if anyones got a program which can remove all my bluetooth drivers COMPLETELY, i'd be very greatful.

I'm on a dual boot so ive tried this in Vista and XP both with no luck.
