Hi everyone,

_ Fixed: The application crashes when you use IR Viewer

_ Added shortcuts for calibration and Mouse control.
_ Added a large mouse and keyboard control library for future uses.

*** Wiimote WB Helper v0.2 (
_Added Double Click.
_Added IR Dots Viewer: It will help you with your calibration. Make sure that you see only 1 dot when you use your IR pen.

*** Wiimote WB Helper v0.1 (
_Added Calibration Visual
_Added Left + Right Mouse control.
_Fixed some minor errors.

Please help.

I am using window 7, mini USB Bluetooth Dongle and BlueSoleil.

The connection between the Bluesoleil and Wiimote is fine. BlueSoleil said its connected (I follow this guide

 4 lights on the wiimote were blinking BUT when I turned on any Wiimote Applications (whiteboard, pentabulous, smoothboard). I got this error "Wiimote not found in HID device list". Does anyone know how to fix this.

I would post the picture but the PrtScn button on my keyboard didnt work. Sorry.

Programmers Den / UpdateTrackingUtilization() !!! Help...
« on: January 06, 2010, 01:51:54 PM »
Hi guys,

I am new to wiimote and i would like to write an application like Johnny Whiteboard. I am looking at his source code BUT i am stuck at the UpdateTrackingUtilization() function. I have some questions about the code below:

        float UpdateTrackingUtilization()
            //area of ideal calibration coordinates (to match the screen)
            float idealArea = (1 - 2*calibrationMargin) * 1024 * (1 - 2*calibrationMargin) * 768;
            //area of quadrliatera
            float actualArea = 0.5f * Math.Abs((srcX[1] - srcX[2]) * (srcY[0] - srcY[3]) - (srcX[0] - srcX[3]) * (srcY[1] - srcY[2]));
            float util = (actualArea / idealArea)*100;
            BeginInvoke((MethodInvoker)delegate() { lblTrackingUtil.Text = util.ToString("f0"); });
            BeginInvoke((MethodInvoker)delegate() { pbTrackingUtil.Value = (int)util; });

            return util;

 Where did you get the formula for idealArea, actualArea and util???   Why do we need these variables? and What is BeginInvoke?

Thank you very much and sorry for these noob's questions.

Bluetooth & Connectivity Help Center / Hp laptop and Window 7
« on: January 01, 2010, 10:11:12 AM »
Hi everyone,
I am trying to install Bluetooth for my HP dv2000 using Window 7 Ultimate.
I got the driver from HP website but when I clicked on the file and it says "No BlueTooth device was detected. Please make sure that your Bluetooth device is plugged in properly in order to continue installation?"

I know that dv2000 has a built-in BT.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you,

Hi everyone,

1st of all, my English is not good. Its not my first language. I'll try to be as clear as I can.

I have been reading on the forum for a few days. I got amazed by Johnny Lee and his projects. I would like to set up a Whiteboard for my computer but i don't know if I am going the right way.
To get Whiteboard running, you have to have the following:

1. Make a connection between your computer and Wii Remote.
I am using Window 7 on my Desktop which doesnt have a Bluetooth. I have read that a lot of USB Bluetooth doesn't work with Window7. Can someone please tell me which USB Bluetooth I should buy and the software I need to make the connection?

2. You also need a IR Pen. I got this.

3. You need Wiimote such as Smoothboard or Massiveboard right?

By the way, Can we have a Newbie Section for new members?

Thank you very much,
