Hi there. I feel really dumb here, but please bear with me.

I have a Dell Lattitude E6 520 running 64b Windows 7 Enterprise and NO internal bluetooth.

I followed the below process to install the Toshiba bluetooth stack and smoothboard for wiimote plus.
https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1X_Q7_Da4-g2l6AaHgHZTrdzyAuPuM6UmU8zeK6aUG-k

I thought I'd try connecting my Wiimote plus to the computer using a generic bluetooth adapter I already have. However, everytime I try installing the Toshiba driver and am asked to install the bluetooth adapter, the adapter just re-installs the generic bluetooth stack I just removed!

I have switched off the Windows 'auto install' for drivers, but it still installs.

Once these generic drivers have installed, the Toshiba software then continues asking for me to insert the adapter, so obviously it hasn't recognized that it is in the USB port.

I discovered the below forum thread that suggests only one version, 8.0.2 of the Toshiba stack works with Wiimote plus.

My question is:
1. Is it correct that the 8.0.2 stack is the only one that will work with Wiimote Plus, and if so, where can I download it?

2. Even if I do search the world for a Toshiba bluetooth adapter (there are none available here in New Zealand, only cheap generic ones as most computers have bluetooth built in now), won't that adapter just do the same as my cheap one and install its own drivers every time I plug it in?

Any hints you could provide would be much appreciated. Thanks.

General Discussion / Will it work with flexible projector screen?
« on: June 27, 2013, 07:27:01 PM »
Hi. First post, so please bear with me.
I will be using on of those flexible screens that rolls down from the ceiling. The material is a fairly non-reflective, rough vinyl type. Will the IR pen work OK on that? I'm not worried about pen-pressure, more about whether the light will reflect back to the Wiimote or not.

Anyone with experience, I'd like to know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
