I am interested in getting the Wiimote Whitebaord to work (for teaching). I have a Dell laptop that uses the "Dell Wireless 355 Module with Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR Technology" (what it shows in device manager). I can't get the wiimote to connect. I use the method of adding a specific bluetooth device so that the skip button works. When I do this, it finds the wiimote (but the lights on the wiimote keep blinking), and if I am quick it even looks like the device is connected, but when the lights stop blinking it no longer shows it as connected. The single light on the wiimote never turns solid (like when it connects to the Wii).
When I tried to use BlueSoleil it would find the device and even show it as connected, but the lights on the wiimote never stopped blinking. I didn't try to launch any of the apps that would use the wiimote, which it sounds like may have been the issue.
Is there a good dongle that comes with BlueSoleil that I can buy at Best Buy or someplace local (in case I need to return it). I can't seem to figure out what software comes with the different bluetooth dongles.
This is the first time I have ever tried to use bluetooth so hopefully I will be able to understand any advice given.
