Wiimote Interactive Whiteboard / Wiimote does not stay connected

I use a bluetooth adapter by Micro Innovations. It has no troubles finding the Wiimote and appears on the HID chart. The only problem is that my Wiimote never stays connected and when it does it's for a half a second.
