IR Pens / need resistor
« on: December 04, 2008, 05:32:24 PM »
we finally got everything working way back before thanksgiving and boy was it cool, however back on topic. even though i don't need to build my own ir pen i would like to. i have the ir LED but i need the resistor (specificaly one with 3.3ohms) there arn't many electro stores around where i live so if some one could put me onto a site that would be great. I checked the ir calculater page and i couldn't find what i need but maybe i missed it
SOMETHING I THOUGHT WAS COOL: you can use conventional SMARTBOARD software with the wiimote, like the highlighter and pens wich you can use on the desktop or any other site or page.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

I know you can easily buy one of these ifra-red pens but if you want to build one your self where can you get the "guts" other than buy taking apart a new one.

Wiimote Interactive Whiteboard / TRY THIS
« on: October 23, 2008, 04:01:05 PM »
Some one may have tried this already, but if not this might work. If your having trouble mountig the wiimote in the right place I think you could get one of those pant roler extension handles which telascope at Home Depot. then try clamping it onto a whiteboard hanger and ataching the remote on the other end.
I AM GOING TO TRY THIS SOON.

« on: October 22, 2008, 05:27:14 PM »
I just started trying to build a wiiboard and I would like to know if I could use this on a much bigger scale like on a whole wall. Could I use two wiiremotes together??? I think i might try with mirrors first.
