Well download the right version for your computer if it is a 32-bit. You downloaded the 64-bit version of WiiDesktopVR. Just Download the 32-bit one. Although your dxdiag showed you have 64-bit...

Seriously, is there anyone?

Here's something I found.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms920767.aspx
Is it what you used?
How can it be used properly with WiiDesktopVR, if it can?

Anyone that can help? Please.

Edit: I found this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms920767.aspx

Anyone can help me using it properly?
I know how to export a .blend file into a .x file. But I don't know how to use this code.
Here's, joined, the txt version of what I have (I can't upload a .cs file).
Could anyone please tell me what's wrong with it in order to make it display a 3d object that follows the transformation caused by the headtracking?

Ok I might take a look at what is said about the libraries used.
But programming isn't my type and I saw this project doing the same headtracking but with flash. So I thought how easy it seemed to just insert my own 3d creations in this program. But it has disappeared from the surface of the internet, along with its creator, seemingly.
The point is : I don't have advanced programming knowledge and learning and doing programming might be a loss of time when I could just have it already done. Programming isn't my goal: it's 3d modelling and I won't have enough time left if I have to properly recreate a program all over again.
So if you or anyone could please explain this from that thread, it would help a little more  http://www.wiimoteproject.com/wiimote-desktopvr/3d-model-visualization/msg12949/#new

Hello!

You can do this with the help of Papervision

check out this page
http://www.madvertices.com/search/label/Papervision%203D
(Desktop VR from Flash - Wiimote project #3)

fire up 3dstudioMax
export your model into the .DAE format
(use plugin if its not available in your version)

Use the .DAE in Papervision
Implement the code for Wiimote (with WiiFlash)

look at your model in 3d and move around...

The website mentioned isn't available (for me at least) so I can't know what's on the website... A download? The same video demo I saw before or just documentation?
So which is the easiest/fastest to do? The flash+papervision or with the original DesktopVR? And how to do it (more describedly)?

This looks like a lot of questions, isn't it? I obviously didn't have a lot of answers before so instead of asking everything one question at a time, I just give it all so I won't waste time.

All hail JCL

www.madvertices.com doesn't exist anymore and it would help if I knew what was on this website. Was it a demonstration or a download? Because I'm looking for any way to display 3d objects for headtracking. I've looked around the forums but the only promising people I've found never posted anything ever again. For instance, this guy never ever answered me http://www.wiimoteproject.com/wiimote-desktopvr/desktopvr-in-flash-and-papervision3d/ and nobody seems to release his/her source code and how-tos.

Is there still anyone on this forum?
Is the forum dead?

How can I change everything in the scene? like:
Add one or more 3d models
Change the targets from 2d images to 3d objects
If there is a way to import 3d objects directly, what is it?
If not, could you please tell me how I can code (in the source I think) the display of objects with textures and point me to a good source of information about the codes to use and how to use them? Thanks again for any answer.

Well I'm supposed to present it in class and to all students during lunchtime. I would let other people try it and maybe do the same thing JCL does with his camera. So the basic idea is to eventually do this concept ( make sure it work with my computer and calibration stuff) and to, I don't know, add another layer of interactivity (I know headtracking is already a lot of interactivity, but that would be plagiarism to only use the desktopVR program).

My first idea is to make a 3d scene, something some people on this forum thought of but doesn't seem that much discussed ( or please point me to the thread I missed). And I think it would be interesting to do something interactive.
Sorry for replying back so late.

I chose to use the Wiimote Desktop VR/Head Tracking concept for my high school's last year personal project and I need to know what are the possibilities for something interesting I could present. I have roughly 3 months to do it. And just doing the basic idea of Headtracking is not original enough for teachers to be somehow personal. I don't have any problem if it implies learning any programming language.
Thanks for any reply!
