Wiimote Desktop VR/Head Tracking / Game for Headtracking

It seems to me like someone should take this concept and just sit down and make a game out of it.
I know its really easy to say and all, but lots of coders here are just playin around with the current program. Lets put together a real one.
Im not thinking full 3d yet, i think thats a bit far from this point. what about a 2d game put into 3d.
Try Mario Brothers for example. I know someone could make a flash version of mario, easy. Its been done 100 times over now.
Just apply each element to a different "layer" and have the layers move based on where your head is. Seems like it'd be cake to do for anyone with half a mind for programming..(which i do not have)
anyone who made this would be a god and i think it could potentially spark a bunch of coders to attempt their own stuff.
