I am having the same type of problem.  I am on a hp dv6000 with windows vista.  It does not have integrated bluetooth so I bought a Cirago USB Bluetooth Device which came with BlueSoleil.  I can get it to detect and connect with the wiimote but once connected the four lights (or now three since the battery is starting to run low) blink continuously till I disconnect it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
