Hello GUys i Have a CHEAP CHINESE WIIMOTE which i bought fro e bay....that is not working with any application like glovepie winremote, smooth board except latest dolphin emulator which have third party wiimote support
i think problem is the vid&pid
as Normal NINTENDO Wiimote has
Hardware ID: (VID = Nintendo, PID = Wiimote)
        Works=HID\VID_057e&PID_0306

but mine is
 DontWorks=HID\VID_0001&PID_0002
so my wiimote is detected as hid but not as wiimote so glove pie doesnot work i m not so advanced in programing to  make a patch to support mt wiimote in glovepie so my wiimote is useless for now  ...
expecting someone to help.....
as many of people have bought this type of chinese wiimote thinking it is orirginal............

With the Wii Remote Plus, you may use the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack with the special compilation of Smoothboard 2 or the new Smoothboard Air with Duo.

Hi,

Do you mean that you are unable to use Smoothboard with the 6 displays even though it is detected as a single display?

ho collocato al soffitto un videoproiettore optima gt750 a focale corta e desiderei sapere a che distanza dal proiettore e dal luogo proiettato devo porre il wii perchè non venga abbagliato dalla luce del proiettore di lumens 3000. Grazie.

As long as you do not point the Wii Remote towards the projector, the Wii Remote should not capture the IR emitted from the projector's casing. For example, in Smoothboard, use the Calibration Viewer to adjust the Wii Remote so that the projector is not within the Wiimote's view.

Is the new motion plus controller supported by the jonney Lee wiimote software? Is there any advantage of motion plus controller over normal controller w.r.t the whiteboard project?

For the Wiimote Whiteboard, the Wii Remote Plus (with Motion Plus inside) does not have any advantage.

You will need Smoothboard Air with Duo, which supports the Wii Remote Plus with the use of the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack.

Wiimote Smoothboard / Re: non oem wiimote
« on: July 19, 2012, 03:17:19 AM »
hi every body
i wanna to know what is difrence between wii remote(non oem) with orginal remote about using in the smoothboard?
for example below link is non oem because of this price is so low !
but other model of this wii remote is about 34 $

what is difrence in application?

thanks

Hi,

The non genuine Wii Remotes may have bad IR Sensors and also connection issues.

For example, a common issue is that you may need to place the Wii Remote very close to the screen to detect the IR emitted from the IR Pen.

Bluetooth & Connectivity Help Center / Re: Wiimote doesnot work

As mentioned by teacherdude, the non genuine wiimotes may pr may not work well. Even may work with the actual Wii console but for the wiimote whiteboard, the IR sensitivity must be good or else there will be a lot of issues with the tracking.

Wiimote Interactive Whiteboard / Re: Whiteborad and Multitouch
« on: July 05, 2012, 07:22:24 AM »
Hey guys,

Sorry to bump the topic but I do have something of value to add! :-)

I have written an app which smooths and classifies the cursor input with multiple pens and can generate TUIO and Windows 7 events by directly interfacing with Daniel's aforementioned driver.  Essentially meaning it's done. :-)

I've been looking to get this kind of thing into my classroom. I have had some trouble with Windows 7 and recognising the bluetooth like a lot of others. I'm not a developer, but an end user so I'm not here to criticize, but I want to get my  students to be able to have two pens writing at the board at the same time. I have found a cheap (not free) programme (team player lite) that allows multiple cursors at the same time, and I'm wondering if this would work with this set up on Windows 7 (I don't have 7 to be able to give it a try) There is a 30 day free trial though so it doesn't have to cost anything to try it out.

Dayles

Hi Dayles,

If you are looking to have two users writing at the board simultaneously, you may want to try the new Smoothboard Air with Duo software which supports 2 IR Pens simultaneously.

There is also a split screen mode that allows two users to have independent toolbars at each side of the screen.

You may find more info at http://www.smoothboard.net
