IR Pens / Re: Using a second wiimote as an IR Pen.

I'm wondering if smoothboard could support the nunchuck?
It has the analogue stick, and a wireless nunchuck could be converted to a pen, and the pressure sensitivity could be mapped to one of the analogue directions. This would allow us to build a pressure sensitive tip and have all the functionality we desired via the nunchuck buttons for left and right mouse click etc.

It works a treat! Having all of the buttons available right there on the 'pen' is so handy. I'm hopeful that the applications could use the tilt data to have realistic brush-strokes in apps like photoshop and artrage. Going to see if I can gut the 2nd wiimote and put it in a new case to make it a bit smaller, but all in all I'm very happy with it.

Thanks, I was wondering what to pull apart to get some tiny switches, and didn't even think of my stockpile of dead mice!

I was wondering about using a second wiimote as an IR pen. You could attach an IR LED to it, and then you get full functionality with the accelerometers, (tilt) all of the input buttons etc. I see that smoothboard supports a second wiimote, might give it a go this weekend.
