Hi,

I am trying to gete data from the Wiimote in Java.
I am using Bluecove bluetooth stack and the WiiremoteJ as WiiMote library.

My Bluetooth dongle has Windows Vista drivers and BlueSoleil.

With both Windows bluetooth stack and BlueSoleil I can't manage to complete the connection. It complains about L2CAP or other issues. Searching on the Internet it seems that the best bluetooth stack is the Widcomm, but unfortunately my dongle is not compatible.

Is there any possibility to connect a Windows or Bluesoleil stack to WiiremoteJ  using BlueCove?

If not: can someone suggest me a working library stack on top of Windows or Bluesoleil for Java ?

Or is it better to buy another dongle that is compatible with BlueSoleil?

Thanks very much.

Dario

Hi,

For using WiiRemoteJ with Bluecove you will have difficulties connecting with the Windows or Bluesoleil stacks. It would be easier if you get a dongle that uses the Widcomm stack if you need to work in Java.
