Greetings fellow com-strips,
(points to the person that can tell me were I got that),

I ran into Johnny Lee's Youtube videos a short time ago. But only just got my hands on a wii!
Now I am looking to see if I can use my computer knowledge and Johnny's ideas to help with creating a better interface for people like myself who are disabled and still want to use the computer.
I look forward to making new friends and bouncing ideas off people's heads.

73!

Well you're definitely not pointing at me... even after googling the phrase, I didn't get anything. Dang, I wanted to feel cool there for a minute.

Anyway, hello! Glad to see you here! I'm stoked to see what ideas you've got, and if I can be of any help. Bounce those ideas away my friend, bounce away.

Thank you one and all for the warm welcome. :)
Wiweeyum: the quote is from the Movie Tron. Jeff Bridges character would say that to his friends in greeting. Very much a 80's thing, ;) .

Well I have been looking around and was surprised to see how little support the Linux version of the Whiteboard has. The Windows version is very much a plug and go suite of software. So it looks like smart money goes to that side, as much as I hate it. I have my system set aside for it. Next Month I will pickup a copy of XP to run on it. And I started to gather the parts for stuff I want to build here. I am working on an idea for a "Data Glove" to interface with the Whiteboard. I cleaned out the local Radio-shack from all the IR LED's they had. One step at a time...

I've seen scenes from it, but not the whole movie... it's been on my watch list for a few years.

It is very much worth watching at least once. Even thou graphics have advanced greatly since that time, the idea and eye candy are worth it. Beside the disc battles are just too kewl.
