Hello all.

Im a want-to-be engineer
young and full of ideas

im wanting to make a program That tracks 4 points with the wiimote.
If i can get it to work it could display a 3D model attached to the points
Think of holding a Little IR pen but with 2 IR LEDs one on each end,
as you move you hand into the area where two wiimotes are facing at a 90 degree angle,
once both wiimotes can see the IR lights a water bottle(or any other computer rendered model) is shown on the screen oriented the same as the pen!
as you move the pen you move the bottle... just a idea i plan to explore.

Im not much of a form parson but ill spend alot of time here.  Nice site! ;)

If you have 2 IRdots you can draw a line between them and use this line as the center of the object (ie bottle)

You can also extend this to track the motions to move the object around...

But how to do this ? I know that Papervision is a good source for this(Flash 3d)

If you are skilled with direct3d and / or Open GL programming you can do the same without the need for Papervision
