Hey Guys,

I am Rachit (pronounced ratchet :P) . I am new to the wii-mote project and development.

I was just wondering where and how to get started with this. I have seen people use wii mote for a variety of very neat apps (like wii whiteboard etc) and i would like to work on the same.

I would really appreciate it if i can get some pointers on how to get started.

Thanks,
Rachit

Hi Rachit,

For new developers, I would suggest reading Brian Peek's book that can be found from the following link: http://books.google.com/books?id=d1QC69atuocC&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q&f=false

If you are working on C#, using the Wiimote Library is quite straightforward as Brian Peek has included the Wiimote Test application with the library.

If you have encountered difficulties with the coding or the Wiimote, you may post in the appropriate sub forums here.

Boon Jin
