Might as well introduce myself.

Working on a project for school, trying to get the wiimote to work with my computer so I can run an experiment with it.
Since I hardly know anything about programming the whole thing is giving me a headache, but it's been very educational and fun so far. =D

Welcome to the board Rorschach.

You can automatically connect your Wiimotes and annotate directly with the iWiiBoard software.
You can visit http://www.iwiiboard.com for the details

For a complete guide, you can take a look at the iWiiBoard User Guide from the following link:

Cheers, but I'm not using a whiteboard.
Just trying to get data from the wiimote for my project.

Hi,

Depending on the complexity of what you plan to develop, you can use GlovePIE to directly receive the input from the Wiimote and script the event handling. Also, you can use pre-existing Wiimote libraries such as the WiimoteLib for C# .Net by Brian Peek.

If you need step by step help to familiarize yourself with using Brian Peek's WiimoteLib, you can take a look at the following book http://books.google.com/books?id=d1QC69atuocC&lpg=PP1&dq=brian%20peek&pg=PP1#v=onepage&q&f=false (http://books.google.com/books?id=d1QC69atuocC&lpg=PP1&dq=brian%20peek&pg=PP1#v=onepage&q&f=false)

You can also open up a thread in a relevant subforum if you have any difficulties to get started. :)

Regards,
Boon Jin

Thanks for the info!
I think I will do just that, I've got some things working but there are plenty of things I'm still struggling with. ^^
