Hi! I'm a primary school teacher from Singapore. I always wanted to try out Wiimote whiteboard in classroom last year but have little idea where to start. Till I stumbled upon this community and order a couple of IR pens. Funny thing I do not own a Wii yet, so I will be getting a Wiimote soon (or maybe the whole console! )I'm ready to amaze my colleagues in school!

Hi Boonjin,So glad to have a compatriot here! Thanks for the help In fact I just got a Wiimote and tried out in classroom. The pupils were quite amazed. I'm still trying to experiment with better positioning of Wiimote. Is it normal is achieve less than 50% after calibration? I'm also looking for applications to unleash the potential.

It will help you with the calibration. To achieve higher utilization you will have to slowly adjust the wiimote closer to the screen. How is the drawing accuracy with your setup?Regards,Boon Jin
Hi TucksoonJust for your info. Boonjin IS the developer of Smoothboard. So he will definitely be able to sort out any of your problems in the setup.By the way, are you using smoothboard?RegardsHagoh
Update: I tried using an elastic band to attach the wiimote below the projector. Did not enjoy much success as the projector is too high, calibration of bottom points didn't work out well.I guess I'm fine with using a tripod for the time being. A little convenient for me as I have 3 different classes. Time to train a couple of pupils to assist me
