Wiimote Friends

I remember seeing a video a few weeks ago of a guy in his car. In the passengers seat was a laptop and a Wiimote.

Using an application he graphed his car acceleration from the Wiimote accelerometer.

Does anyone know where I can find this application?

Sure, it was probably ChronoGPS. I use it for datalogging in my race car, which is how i originally found out about Johnny Lee's stuff.

Hello,

You will also find a video "from scratch" (...without explanations) about recording acceleration values from a wiimote :

(application : fwiine for linux and scilab with an eee pc)

In fact, a compilation of several applications are available, here :

http://fwiineur.blogspot.com/2008/05/wiimote-measures-acceleration.html

According to your vehicle tests, you will be interested in :

- "all-in-one" applications as chronoGPS and "Amaze Inc" app'

- applications providing data to Excel, OpenCalc, Matlab, Scilab or Gnuplot, as GlovePie and wiiwatcher. (sometimes viewing data on-the-fly, too)

Well, the list is not exclusive. I aware some new applications are lacking
- "wiimote G-Logger" (see some posts in the forum) as for example. I plan to update the list, later.

PS : Do not hesitate to share your links about other dataloggers, here.

I coded a program exacly to do that!
Basicly it log the data, then you export it to Excel/OpenOffice to do the graph.

You can see more apps i made on my blog, i still have lots more in progress!
