Title: How to Use the VS2005 to Make a Useful Project ?
Post by: JohnnyLiou on July 21, 2010, 03:19:01 AM
Recently I'm trying to do a research about the wii remote.

I just begin to study it for a few days so maybe my questions are easy or stupid:

I see on the Internet most projects are written by C#, do you know how to use the VS2005 to make a useful project?
For example, I just want to make a project and its function is to tell me the coordinate of three axis. Could I use VS2005 to finish it?
    Have you tried this?
If it's OK, would you like to show me your source code or method to do this?

    Expecting to reply!
    Thank you very much!

Best Wishes

Hi Johnny Liou,

If you are using VS 2005, most probably you are using C# or VB. If so, you should be able to use the Wiimote Library which is written by Brian Peek.

You can use the sample application, WiimoteTest to get started. However, the library and project is written in VS 2008. Changes may be required if you are using on the older Visual Studio version.

I would suggest you to get the free Express Editions. :)

Regards,
Boon Jin

Thank you so much!
But if I want to use VC to make a project, is it OK?
Have you tried VC?

Best Wishes!
