Does anybody know if there are programs out there that allow to get the raw data out of the Wii Fit force plate? Or is it even possible to find a finished product which gives you the excerted force on the plate with high time resolution?

I would be very grateful for any information on this task

I too am interested in using the wii fit as a force plate - however, so far as I know the balance board only provides a coarse 500 gram (1 lb) weight sensitivity, which is bad for measuring subtle weight shifts.  I'm not sure about the data output resolution, but I would think it outputs at a fairly high frequency to allow for fast-paced gaming.

What would you use it for?  I was thinking to use it for postural sway but the weight sensitivity isn't appropriate for doing so.
