As far as we know, there is an accelerometer in Wiimote and a gyroscope in MotionPlus, these two will form an inertial navigation system.
I'm working on this, which is a part of my project, but when I google it, I found there are not many people talking about this, why?
Is it because this drift is meaningless to our projects, or it's too difficult to apply on the applications?
I have spent 4 weeks studying on inertial navigation system, but still got less progresses...

Thank you very much for your reply.

I've been through the same, until meet some guys on wiiurself. Initially the'll tell you to use Kalman filter. But somehow I bumped into a very interesting paper describing Fusion filter for IMU(acell + gyros).
Got some very good material. give me a call: [email protected] (emal, msn, gtalk, skype).

Luck to you.
