Hello People,

I just finished rebuilding this DesktopVR project in Flash using Papervision & WiiFlash. I made a video of it, i would love to get some comment/suggestions on it.

The video is a bit dark but the message is clear :-)

Thats so cool. Is it easy to just drop in models in papervision? I kinda good with 3Dmax and wish to use 3D models withs this VR stuff.

GREAT STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!

working with real 3d objects is quite easy in Papervision

Its a few months since I did a small modelviewer but it uses the Collada format so you export your .max to collada and its basically to start using it stright away in papervision code

lots of demos available - and sourcecode to get you started...

Thx for your reply's.

It's bit of a long video, but i just don't like those video's in which you see some guy talking for 5 minutes about his app before showing anything :)

I'm gonna make the source available, just have to tidy it up..

And yeah its quite easy to import 3dmax files to papervision, export them as a Collada file and your done. A collade file is nothing more then a XML file with 3d map points and a refference to a PNG file containing the textures.

Next project is gonna be a game with this head tracking tool.

greets,

Gerb
