Hey everyone,
So we didn't really use Johny's code, but we took the same idea and hooked it up to PyMol (a molecular visualization program written in python).

We then removed all the gear and just did head tracking with the webcam built into most modern apple computers (the iSight webcam). If you want to check it out, here's the [site]. We'll be releasing the code as open source in a few weeks and if anyone would like to join the project, let me know. We'll need ports to Linux / Windows, improved head tracking, better wiimote input (ie. two wiimotes side by side to double the field of view), etc.

We'd also love to hear any questions/comments you might have. Cheers.
