Welcome!

Is that your display ? I saw it at instructables a few months ago :)

The problem with using the Wiimote for multitouch is the limitation of 4 simultaneously tracked dots...

In the software you use (wiimotelib) there is no such limitation, thus can it handle more dots at the same time.

I'm also building my own multitouch and I intend to use wiimotelib as well along with a modified webcam...

Not much help in all that text...

To your problem - can you verify your BT.connection

Can you test this with say boonjin's version: http://www.boonjin.com/wp/

If you have no IRpen just use an remote...

i test Wii remote with WiimoteLib_1.2.1. that's work. i don't worry about limitation of dot. i use only 2 point.

My problem's Wii remote can't detect any point.

this's my display. i use about 100 IR-LED. my Wii remote can't detect any point maybe IR-light not enough then i prove by make new prototype.

my prototype display 4"x4" with 8 IR-LED.

i use cup for block any light from outside.

I only want to clarify 1 thing.

The site you linked to (with the big multitouch-table) use TouchLib - not Wiimotelib that is used here..

Of course you can contact me.

Take a look at the symbols below the avatar on the left side - here you find, email, ICQ and MSN and messages here in the forum

OK - so if I get it right you are using FTIR in the Acrylic glass and have your Wiimote mounted at the end of the tube ?

(FTIR for those who don't know is "Frustrated Totally Internal Reflection")

IR-leds are mounted along the edge of the acrylic glass and lights up inside
