About a month ago I had smoothboard up and running using one wiimote, my lcd projector in my classroom, and an led pen purchased from one of the providers.

Since then I have not been able to get smoothboard to fully connect with my wiimote.  When it searches for the remote it recognizes the remote exists and puts up the box to check with an address something like 00:1E:35:CC:... and so on.  It searches for a while as I press buttons 1 and 2 (as well as when i press the "hard" discover red button by the batteries).   Smoothboard will say at the bottom "found:1  connected:0" and continues to load.  Sometimes it will say "found:1  connected:1" for a split second, but then returns to searching immediately without connecting fully to the remote.

I have even purchased a second bluetooth device, uninstalled everything (any anything with bluetooth or smoothboard in its name), then reinstalled everything, but it still does the same thing.  Any suggestions?

Are you using Windows 7? If yes, you may need to disable the Windows Update for Device installation.

There is a possibility that your HID Input Service or the Bluetooth Support Service is not running.

You may Enable the two services and set them to Automatic by running Services.msc from the Start Menu->Run
