I seem to be having some trouble with double clicking on an icon using my light pen.  My computer doesn't recognize that I'm double clicking and it takes quite a while before it does open; is there any way to fix that. Other than that the program seems to work very well, thank you to all those who have made this work.

The main problem with double clicking with a light pen is if any movement is detected it will treat it as a "click drag click" not "click click". Firstly try using Boonjins application http://www.boonjin.com/wp/ (watch this space as being regularly updated and features added) the smoothing improves this as less fine movement is detected due to smoothing feature.

If you have a stiff momentary switch the muscular contraction required to press your button will make a fine movement of the pen. Try using a micro SPDT Switch http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/485db4f702b6faaa273fc0a87f9c074d/Product/View/P7802. If your momentary switch is stiff, or slow your double click may be identified as "click" pause "click" or two single clicks.

If your tracking utilisation is too low (below 50%) you may find improving the tracking utilisation will make Ir-Blob detetcion more accuart and assit in double click at teh same location.

The last thing is your double click technique. You need to make sure the pen is still as possible. Make sure you consciously pause hold the pen still and quickly double click.

I have no problems with double clicking, I move quickly to the location and double click. But I think this is faciliated by a micro switch, smoothing and good Wiimote location.

Goodluck

Hi ksanks
I myself have problem double clicking. Maybe this is due to the slow lazy fingers of mine. :)
I will try my best to include the double clicking feature in the next test version of the whiteboard if its not too difficult.
