If you can use a projected image as a interactive whiteboard...Does this mean you can use any old PC monitor as a touch screen as well???

check out nui group.  They have been successfully experimenting with multitouch screens.  There did not seem to be much interest to pursue this approach on this forum.  Hope this helps

The Wiimote Whiteboard idea works as well with an LCD or CRT display as with a projector. It can even be considered easier since the distance to the Wiimote is smaller and the IR pen thus doesn't have to be very bright.
