Hi,

You may need to provide more information for us to understand your idea.

What do you mean of the sensor standalone? Do you mean the actual sensor bar used by the Wii console and the user holding the Wiimote pointing at the Wii console?

If you are using the IR camera directly connected to the PC then the apps by Brian Peek or Johnny Lee may not be suitable.

Ok, so what you recomend for me, if I want to try to implement the IR camera only, because I want to develop a wiimote whiteboard but only with the camera IR only..

Hi,

In the first place, have you successfully connect the IR camera to the computer and check that the data received is sufficient?

This is because I have the feeling that the data received may not have sufficient resolution to be used as an interactive whiteboard. Furthermore, you will need to do the image/video processing yourself to extract the IR coordinates.

It may be slightly easier if you are using a web camera instead.

Why do you want to directly connect the IR camera instead of using the whole Wiimote?
